Job Summary

The Mgr FP&A collaborates with Corporate and Market Leadership to provide financial guidance, support client pricing and profitability assessment, and ensure compliance with financial policies. This role involves analyzing operational and financial data to identify risks and opportunities, developing and executing financial policy changes, and presenting quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. The manager will also facilitate cross-market initiatives and serve as an FP&A representative for acquisitions.

Must Have

  • Ensure proper financial reporting, analysis, and cost control.
  • Enforce financial policy and administer business rules.
  • Partner with FP&A Leadership to enhance financial policy and business process.
  • Serve as the FP&A representative for acquisition, due diligence, and integration initiatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-7 years of related experience

SUMMARY:

Under general direction, collaborate with Corporate and Market Leadership to provide financial leadership and support; client pricing and profitability assessment, reporting and analysis to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and overall profit performance. Partner with the FP&A team to appropriately leverage for maximizing results for the designated market. Seek guidance and input from Finance management team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist field leaders in developing pricing and profitability models.
  • Partner with Corporate and Market Leadership to assess current and future state of financial results and projects.
  • Analyze operational and financial data to identify opportunities and risk, determine financial and operational impact and propose recommendations for improvement of financial results.
  • Develop, facilitate and execute financial policy and business process change.
  • Review, approve and present the Firm quarterly forecasts, annual business plans and budgets.
  • Serve as the FP&A representative to facilitate cross-market and cross-functional resolution of financial, operational, or reporting based initiatives.
  • Ensure proper financial reporting, analysis, and cost control.
  • Enforce financial policy and administer business rules.
  • Partner with FP&A Leadership team to identify opportunities to enhance or improve financial policy, business process, and share best practices.
  • Serve as the FP&A representative for acquisition, due diligence, and integration initiatives.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

  • Executive Committee – Serve as main FP&A point of contact for the assigned EC member(s)
  • Operational Leadership (VPs) –Partner and consult on the Financial aspects of the business.
  • FP&A Management - Receive direction, establish consensus, share and seek information, consult

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Yes, has the following direct reports: Financial Analysts, Financial Analyst Sr, other positions as required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 5-7 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Supervisory experience preferred. Master’s degree a plus.

CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:

One of the following preferred: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Accountant (CFA) or Certified Corporate FP&A Professional (FPAC)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Travel as required, up to 10%
